What We Support and Why

ELIGIBILITY
All grant recipients of the Mosher Foundation must have tax-exempt 501(c)(3) status as a non-profit organization as defined by the Internal Revenue Code of the United States.  The Foundation primariy funds qualified organizations located in the greater Santa Barbara, California area.

HEALTH CARE
Mr. and Mrs. Mosher were very interested in providing quality health care to our community and gave generously to institutions and organizations that provide for the physical and mental health of local residents and for the education of health care practitioners.

PERFORMING ARTS
Mr. And Mrs. Mosher loved music and frequently sponsored performing arts organizations in Santa Barbara.

The Mosher Board supports principally nonprofit organizations whose primary purpose is in these three areas.

EDUCATION
Mr. And Mrs. Mosher maintained a very active interest in and involvement with accredited higher and secondary education institutions.
